Minick Materials

They can only drop a boulder on the outskirts … I paid $210 for delivery and they could not place the boulder next to the house. Better communication could have saved me $210 because the smaller three rocks could have fit in my car, so I paid $210 for one they couldn’t place next to the house because their forklift was too big. I guess the intention is to sell to businesses or landscapers who deliver the bigger boulders, not to regular homeowners who do not own a forklift.

I’ve used Minick in Edmond many times over the years; everyone is always helpful and I’ve never had any issues. Would recommend to anyone looking for the types of products they sell.

We have bought rock products here on several occasions. They are nice and helpful. Easy check out. I will use them again for my rock and stone needs.

I’m blown away by the experience we just had on our first visit here. We came with our almost 2 year old in tow to get river rock for a project. The front office staff were SO friendly and knowledgeable, helping us figure out what we wanted, showing us the samples they had in the office, letting us know we could go grab samples from outside to try at home. They were extremely kind and understanding toward our little one, taking the pressure off shopping and figuring things out as a parent. While we walked around outside browsing, a staff member out there approached us with a smile and asked if we needed anything. The purchasing process was so well organized. Everything looked clean, organized, and well kept. We will be back for sure!

If I could give a ZERO star, I would! Purchased 2 tons of black eagle screening gravel. The staff promised me multiple times this product would harden once I water it. They even showed me the sample at the store. Guess what, they lied, it didn’t harden. I used it to build a path. We tried multiple times for multiple days. When it dried, it was as loose as sand. (See the pictures) I finally gave up on it. Went in the store to ask for a refund, even though I knew it wouldn’t even cover my labor cost of laying the plus demolishing the path. But at least , that would tell them they are selling a bad product and they need to stop selling it to other customers. The store manager arrogantly told me that they would charge a 25% restock fee if I returned it. No apologies that they sold me something wrong that cost me hundreds in loss. Shame on this dishonest business.
